IRIS

Iris is an entry for the Ludum Dare 58 game jam with the theme Collector.

The game is about Arik who is stuck in a maze with no clue of how he got there.

He must collect the magical orbs to free the priestess, Iris, from  the never ending nightmare. The orbs are guarded by red Sentries who break out of their statues to make sure that Arik and Iris stay stuck in the maze forever. Arik must follow their key commands to whisk their spirits back to their statues--but not for long.

Arik must rescue the priestess to leave. Or he'll never leave.

Note: the sentries will say UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT. You must repeat the directions with your keypad with the same timing to dodge them or you'll be sent back to the beginning. Be aware; some orbs are traps. Hope this helps.

Controls:

Move with the directional buttons.

Interact with objects with the ENTER key or Z key.

Run with with SHIFT key..

Pause the game with the ESCAPE key.
